Verizon to end unlimited data plan

I guess it's the end of an era:
If you’ve been thinking about making the big switch to a smart phone, this might hasten your decision: Starting tomorrow, Verizon Wireless will stop offering its popular unlimited data plan.

That means subscribers will have through the end of today to lock in the carrier’s $29.99 monthly unlimited data plan — or fall into a new tiered model charging between $30 to $80 a month.
You have until the end of the day today to have an unlimited plan.
